Simply press the button and the TV-B-Gone will switch off 99% of televisions and virtually anything with an infrared port.
There is 400 "off" sequences preprogrammed on this handy device. It will keep scanning until it finds the off frequency. It is mainly used for TVs, but equally effective on LCDs, DVDs and other devices.
TV-B-Gone works best when used under 7 metres from the television set, although in optimum circumstances can work over twice that distance
